Super Falcons player Patricia George has joined Turkish side FK Fenerbahçe after ending her adventure in Germany.
Fenerbahçe announced the signing of Patricia George through a message on their website on Tuesday evening.
The message read:
As part of the squad structuring of the upcoming season, our team added left wing player Patricia del Carmen George, who played in SC Sand, one of the German Frauen-Bundesliga teams, to its squad last season.
Mustafa Kemal Danabas, Member of the Board of Directors responsible for Women’s Football, was also present at the signing held at @ulkerstadyumu Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex.
George played for SC Sand and was a good servant for the club before deciding to move on with her career.
The 25-year-old hasn’t played for the Super Falcons since her debut in 2021 and was subsequently left out of the last African Cup of Nations squad.
The American-born will be hoping to perform well for her employers in order to force her way into Coach Randy Waldrum’s plans for the Women’s World Cup.
