Gent coach, Hein Vanhaezebrouck has disclosed that any interested club will have to pay €50m to sign his Nigerian import Gift Orban.
Orban is now the rave of the moment in Belgium, two months after arriving from Norwegian second division club, Stabaek for just €3 million.
He has 8 goals in 9 games for the Buffalos, including four in last game against Zulte Waregem.
“Forty million (Euros)! Although it may also be €50 million,” he said with a laugh in a post-match interview.
The experienced coach also described the striker’s phenomenon against Zulte Waregem as phenomenon.
“Gift Orban is a phenomenon, but we hardly saw him in the first half. He was not involved in those two goals (by Gent) either,”
“But he knows where the goal is and scoring is for him easy, he can do it with left and right.” He said.
