Genk Boss’ Strained Relationship with Orban Shows Despite UECL Hat-trick

KAA Gent manager, Heinz Vanhaezebrouck was full of praises for his star striker, Gift Orban following his hat-trick against Pogon on Wednesday.

Orban was on the bench at KAA Gent for the past two games, but the Nigerian was back in the starting line-up for the UEFA Europa Conference League tie.

He made immediate impact, netting a hat trick against Pogon, and speaking with the media, Vanhaezebrouck praised the Nigeria and referred to him as a “phenomenon.”

“If you hadn’t asked questions about him in the previous match, when he wasn’t playing, I might have been able to talk about him today.

“But we’ve already done that the past few days. So we don’t have to do that anymore. You will write about his fantastic goals,” says Vanhaezebrouck.

“I don’t know what explanation you give it. It doesn’t interest me either. I know what we’re doing.

“What the relationship is between Gift and myself, and the rest of the group. He is phenomenon, I have already said that five times and I will continue to say that, even if he no longer plays here,” quotes Het Nieuwsblad.
