Genk coach John Van Den Brom refused to comment on Paul Onuachu’s future at the Club.

John Van Den Brom saw his team win, secured hard fought 1-0 win over Anderlecth at the Liminus Arena on Sunday.

Onuachu was substituted towards the end of the game and his replacement Ike Ugbo became the hero by scoring the winner.

After the match, Paul Onuachu was not available for an interview and it was rumored that he’s edging closer to transfer away from the Club, but the gaffer played down the reports.

“The fact that Onuachu can’t give an interview after the game doesn’t mean that something is going on.”

“Sometimes you can’t get everything you want and the journalists should be happy that they get the match winner in front of the microphone,” laughed Van den Brom told the press after the game.
