There’s been a change of guard at Genk with Manager Felice Mazzu paying the ultimate price by getting the sack following a string of poor results.
Genk who were champions of the Belgian Jupiler League, are currently languishing in mid-table with 20 points from 14 matches – 13 points adrift leaders Club Brugge.
Meanwhile, the club has since named Mazzu’s replacement following the announcement of, Tuesday, of former Stuttgart Head Coach Hannes Wolf as their new Boss.
Wolf was tutored by Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp when he was in charge of the youth teams at Borussia Dortmund.
He will have Nigerian internationals Stephen Odey and Paul Onuachu to call on when Racing travel to Royal Excel Mouscron this weekend.
