New Rivers United defender Gbadamosi Jimoh Olamilekan says he’s happy to sign for the 2020-2021 CAF Confederation campaigners.

Olamilekan completed his transfer to Rivers United ahead of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL season from FC Ifeanyi Ubah last week.

Gbadamosi Jimoh Olamilekan who signed a two-year contract with the Stanley Eguma side said he can’t wait to turn out for his new team.

He also added that he’s grateful for everything FC Ifeanyi Ubah has done for him in the past.

“I am happy to have sign for Rivers United. It’s a pleasure and honor to me and I can’t wait for the season to kick start and help my new team.

”I really want to say big thank you to the management, staff, fans and my team mates at FC Ifeanyi Ubah for the love and care.” he said.

Gbadamosi was impressive for the Anambra Warriors last season, scoring five goal five goals before the season ended abruptly.
