Luton Town defender Gabriel Osho will be sidelined for Nigeria’s upcoming friendlies against Ghana and Mali due to a knee injury.
The 25-year-old versatile player sustained the injury during Luton Town’s recent 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.
Osho’s absence was confirmed by Luton Town boss Rob Edwards, who stated that the player is still experiencing pain, making him unfit to participate in the matches.
The injury also forced Osho to miss Luton Town’s midweek fixture against Bournemouth and their upcoming Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest.
“He’s still in pain today, so not going to be good for tomorrow (today)”, Luton Town boss, Rob Edwards declared in press conference.
