CHAN Eagles star, Gabriel Okechukwu has disclosed that he is getting offers from some foreign clubs already after his exploit at the recently concluded CHAN in Morocco.
Gabriel Okechukwu said he doesn’t want to rush into any deal that could hamper is career growth.
In a chat with Brila.net, the Akwa United man revealed some of the offers he has been receiving but there are no concrete deals yet.
“Yes, I have been getting some offers from foreign Clubs I won’t mention because they are no concrete deals yet,” Gabriel stated.
The Akwa United man maintained that he remains committed to his Uyo-based Club and would simply take his time with the NPFL side rather than jump into just any offer.
Okechukwu is a product of Water FC Academy in Abuja. In February 2016 he signed a contract with Ukrainian club FC Karpaty.
Okechukwu was on the provisional squad for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup but eventually did not play any games for this team.
In May 2015 he was called up for the Nigeria national football team in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification to play against Chad national football team, but again he did not play in this match.
