The hopes of Nigeria’s U15 football team, the Future Eagles, have been dashed as they are unable to attend this year’s UEFA U16 Development Tournament in Spain.

The team, along with officials, faced a setback after being denied visas by the Spanish Embassy, preventing them from participating in the highly anticipated event set to commence on Friday.

The Nigerian U15 squad was scheduled to compete against Belgium on April 12, Italy on April 14, and England on April 17.

However, due to the visa denial, the young players will miss out on the opportunity to showcase their talents on the international stage.

The event would have provided valuable exposure and experience for the young footballers, potentially opening doors for their future careers in football.
