Premier League side, Fulham has officially announced Alex Iwobi’s shirt number, almost a week after his deadline day move from Everton.

Fulham took to their official X account to reveal that Iwobi will be donning the number 22 jersey while playing at Craven Cottage.

The Midfielder, who left the Merseyside club after four seasons, signed a five-year contract with the Cottagers. ​

Fulham coughed up £22m, including add-ons, for the Nigerian International, making him the second most expensive acquisition in Fulham’s history, just behind Jean Michael Seri’s transfer from OGC Nice in 2018.

Iwobi is expected to make his debut for Marco Silva’s side after the international break.
