Frenzy in Enugu as Teams arrive for NNL Super 4

The Enugu State FA have assured it will stage a hitch free NNL Super 4 playoff tournament.

FA Chief Chidi Ofo said logistics are in place for the Tournament which kicks off Friday 13 September at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

 

“We are in very high spirit expecting the best of games, we are ready. We urge soccer faithfuls in Enugu to come en masse and watch the best of football artistry in the most important League.”

 

All four teams Adamawa United, Jigawa Golden Stars, Akwa Starlets and Warri Wolves have already arrived the host City; all taking out time to feel the Stadium’s turf.

 

A press conference will precede the tournament in the morning at the same venue, followed by a technical meeting of the participating teams.

 

The opening match will see Adamawa United battle Jigawa Golden Stars at 2pm, after an exhibition match curtain-raiser between amateur sides, Gburugburu Starlets U-10 team and Team Grassroots Managers.

 

Akwa Starlets will later, at 4pm, confront Warri Wolves in a South South derby.
