Defending champion Novak Djokovic has crashed out of the French Open after a fabulous display from Dominic Thiem.
The second seed fell to the man he beat in the semi-finals in 2016, with the Austrian winning 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 6-0 to participate in the last-four of a Grand Slam for just the second time in his career.
Djokovic had reached the final in every year since 2014 but was simply second best on Suzanne-Lenglen.
Thiem will now face Rafael Nadal and he remains the only man to have beaten the Spaniard on clay in 2017.
