Former Super Eagles assistant coach Salisu Yusuf has agreed to join Kano Pillars, according to reports.
The Kano-born tactician reported reached an agreement with Rangers International of Enugu to terminate his contract, a few days ago.
Salisu has been on the radar of the Sai Masu Gida for some time, but Rangers made it clear they are planning the new season with the manager.
However, Rangers accepted to let the Chan Silver Medalist leave after expressing his desire to try something new elsewhere.
Salisu who assisted Gernot Rohr in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia is now expected to resume his new role with the time of Sai Masu Gida in the coming week.
This will be his second stint with the four-time Nigerian Champions. He helped the club finish 2nd position in his first stint.
