Former Roda JC Players Host Tijani Babangida to a Get-Well Dinner

Former players of Roda JC in Holland recently hosted former Nigeria international, Tijani Babangida, to a get-well dinner, celebrating his recovery following a severe motor accident.

Babangida, who also serves as the President of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN), was welcomed by his former teammates in style.

The dinner was organized as a show of solidarity after the tragic accident that claimed the lives of his son, Fadeel, and his younger brother, Ibrahim.

Both Babangida and his wife, who were involved in the accident, have been receiving treatment in Holland, with the unwavering support of his ex-teammates.

“This is what players must do,” they expressed. “Players must be there for each other during and after football because we have become one family as a result.”

A deeply grateful Babangida, touched by the gesture, vowed to promote the same spirit of unity and support within the Nigerian football community.
