Abia Warriors have completed the transfer of the signing Godwin Obaje putting his signature on a two-year contract.
The transfer of the highly rated former Nigeria Professional league highest goalscorer, was announced on Friday.
Obaje is Abia Warriors’ sixth signing of the transfer window after the recruitment of Nzube Anaezemba from Lobi Stars, Markson Ojobo, Vincent Edafe, Dennis Kingsley, Mustpha Jibreel.
Coach Imama Amapakabo led side also promoted two players from the feeders team as the continue preparation for the forthcoming season.
Godwin Obaje made a return to the NPFL after stint with a Tunisian side, JS kairouan.
He also played for El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri and FC Ifeanyi Ubah in the domestic league.
Abia Warriors sporting director, Mr Patrick Ngwaogu, said, Obaje is one of the best players that has ever graced the Nigeria Professional league.
