Former captain of Nigeria’s senior national basketball team D’Tigers Olumide Oyedeji has stated that Nigeria needs the luck of the draws which would come to matter in the final analysis of Nigeria’s ability to excel at the FIBA world cup tournament proper in China.Â
Oyedeji in a chat with www.brila.net said as much as he admits the talk of no team should be underrated, he also believes there are some countries that should be avoided in the early stages of the competition.
A collection that could make life tough for the team in the group stage and pointed out countries like the USA and Spain as countries that Nigeria have no real chance against.
