“The first game is always the most important in every tournament”

“If the Super Eagles can work on beating the Croatians, and moving on to defeat Iceland, then it will be an easy walk into the second round,”

“I think Nigeria should forget about beating Argentina in the World Cup,” Jo stated confidently

The former Coach said Nigeria presently doesn’t have the quality to match that of Argentina and has advised the team to focus more on winning their first and second matches.

Earlier in the week, the 71-year-old tactician also said he was surprised when he got a call from Nigeria that he should come and get the house that he was promised in 1994 after winning the AFCON 1994 in Tunisia.

He further stressed that he is yet to decide on what to do with the house gift from the President Buhari led Federal Government.

“What am I going to do with the house?

“I have not decided yet. Now I know I have a house in Nigeria and whenever I come here, I have a house I can call my own and stay.

“I am not thinking about selling it now, I have not decided.

The Super Eagles will on 16th June kick off their World Cup campaign against Croatia.
