Flying Eagles will trade tackles with Zambia’s U20 team in double header friendly match.

The matches are part of the preparations for the African Cup of Nations slated for Egypt .

The two friendly games will hold in Abuja and both sides are expected to field very strong teams.

“The proposal for the tour includes FAZ flying the Junior Chipolopolo to Nigeria while the NFF will bear the cost of accommodation, feeding and other logistics for the Zambia delegation,” Adrian Kashala, FAZ’s General Secretary, said.

The encounters will take place on 27th January and 30th January 2023 respectively.

The Zambians are drawn in Group C along with Tunisia, Benin Republic and Gambia, while Nigeria will face Egypt, Senegal, and Mozambique in Group A.

The tournament in Egypt is also the qualifiers for the FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia.

All four semi-finalists in Egypt will qualify to represent Africa at the tournament which holds between 20th May -11 June this year.
