A night at the hotel could see a customer cough up between ₦100,000 and ₦63,000.
Meanwhile, a shambolic finish at the African Championship, albeit securing a world cup ticket, saw the team finish fourth behind South Africa, Senegal and Mali.
Nigeria has never won the World Cup, but two runners up spot in 1989 and 2005 remain the benchmark for successive teams.
