Flying Eagles boss Aigbogun tells selected players in camp to be focussed

Coach of Nigeria’s U20 national team Paul Aigbogun has urged all players in the camp of the Nigeria U20 national team to be focussed on excelling in their career respectively after picking his final list of 21 players for the FIFA U20 world cup in Poland.

Aigbogun speaking in a chat with www.brila.net revealed the emotional atmosphere around the team and for himself but stressed that it is not the end for those who couldn’t make the cut to the world in Poland while also sounding it clearly for those that got included in the world cup list that the real hard work starts now.
“Very difficult selecting the final list, this is the part of the job that is not very nice but anybody involves in team sports will have to learn to handle these issues.
Be proud of yourself, I mean it’s not easy to have made the last 30 here in camp out of many millions of people playing football in Nigeria. So I think all of them should be proud and then they should keep on going because the hard work just starts.”
Nigeria’s U20 national team will play the second to the last of the preparatory games tonight against Austria’s RB Salzburg reserve side before finishing with RB Leipzig’s reserve side on Friday.
