Flying Eagles beat Mozambique, seal U20 AFCON quarter-finals ticket

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the quarter-final at the ongoing CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Ladan Bosso’s side defeated Mozambique 2-0 in their final Group A game in Ismailia, Saturday, to book their place.

The team finished as Group A runners up, behind Senegal who themselves thrashed hosts Egypt 4-0 in the second Group game.

First half goals from Samson Lawal and Ibrahim Muhammad sealed the win for the Flying Eagles.
