Norwegian club FK Bodø/Glimt have officially announced the signing of Nigerian forward Sunday Gift.
The 18-year-old talent joins the Eliteserien side from P Sports Academy, signing a four-year contract with the club.
Expressing his excitement, Sunday described the move as a dream come true.
“It is a great experience for me to sign my first professional contract with such a big club as Glimt. It’s a dream come true,” he shared on the club’s official website.
The club’s sporting director, Håvard Sakariassen, also expressed his enthusiasm about the new addition.
“Gift, we have followed for a longer period and he has previously visited us during a training stay,” Sakariassen noted. “Now we are looking forward to getting to know him even better.”
Sunday Gift is expected to add fresh energy and potential to the Bodø/Glimt squad as they continue their campaign in the Norwegian top flight.
