Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong make a return from injury to feature in Udinese’s goalless draw with Hellas Verona on Tuesday.
Ekong returned to action in their Serie A clash at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi and gave a good performance in the heart of Udinese’s defense as they earned a valuable point away from home.
Troost-Ekong who captained Nigeria in their 2-2 against Ukraine at the Dnipro arena earlier this month has missed Udinese’s last two league games as a result of the injury.
In Ekong absence, Udinese suffered a 1-0 loss to Inter Milan and newly promoted side Brescia respectively.
The Tottenham Hotspurs academy graduate has now made three league appearance for Udinese this season and helped them to keep two clean sheets.
Udinese sits 15th on the Italian Serie A log with four points from five games.
