Super Eagles head coach Finidi George has expressed his commitment to integrate talented home-based players into the national team.

Finidi who managed Enyimba FC for three years, achieved notable success by winning the Nigerian league title in his second season.

The 53 year-old however quit his role to take up Super Eagles job on full time basis.

During his farewell speech in Aba, the Coach shared his aspiration to select some talented players from Enyimba and other clubs for the Super Eagles.

“Definitely I will still come back to Aba to watch Enyimba play because my duty now is to mix the Super Eagles team up with the home based players,” Finidi told the media in Aba.

“Aba definitely will be my first destination when I come to watch Enyimba play. Most likely I will see one or two that I can take with me to the Super Eagles.”
