Finidi George lauds Victor Mbaoma’s Super Eagles invitation

Enyimba boss Finidi George has thumbs up Victor Mbaoma’s invitation to the Super Eagles for the International friendlies with Mexico and Ecuador.
Mbaoma has flourished under Finidi George this season — netting 12 times in the NPFL without a penalty.
Reacting to the call up, Finidi who also doubles as Super Eagles second assistant coach urged the striker to sustain his present form.
“He (Mbaoma) has been dedicated, he’s been working hard in training and he’s always been at the right place at the right time. So he would have scored earlier (against Akwa United) but he missed one or two. But that opportunity came and he scored.
“We are happy for him. He should keep working hard and make sure he keeps scoring goals. If you can see, he has scored without a penalty so he’s been very active scoring goals for us, we are happy he is doing that and we want him to do more,” Finidi said.
Mbaoma has featured for the Super Eagles Team B in the past and played for the likes of Remo Stars and Akwa United before joining Enyimba.
