Rivers United Technical Manager,Finidi George guided his side to a 2-0 win over his former club Enyimba in their Nigeria Premier Football League encounter, on Sunday.
The Matchday 4 matchup saw Finidi , former head coach of Enyimba, outsmart his former assistant, Yemi Olanrewaju, in a contest dubbed the “Battle of Master vs. Apprentice.”

Rivers United, claimed victory through goals by Ubong Friday and Seiyefa Jackson.
Friday opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a well-placed finish, while Jackson doubled the lead with a stunning strike in the 89th minute after a clever link-up play with David Benjamin.
The win further solidifies Rivers United’s position as one of the top contenders in the NPFL this season.
