Super Eagles legend Finidi Geroge has denied reports making the rounds that he has bagged an appointment with his former club Real Mallorca.
The news broke in the media that the former Ipswich Town winger was appointed as Real Mallorca’s new youth team coach on Monday.
The reports generated reactions from football lovers and ex internationals who sent their congratulatory messages, which prompted the wing wizard to deny the react.
Finidi who currently live in Mallorca, Spain, tagged the reports as fake, before urging the public to ignore it.
Finidi George wrote on Social media : ” My brothers, please it’s fake news. Am not even aware of the appointment and I live in Mallorca. I appreciate it but it’s not true “. He confirmed.
Finidi George spent half his career in Laliga Santander where he featured for Real Mallorca and Real Betis.
He later left Spain for English club Ipswich town, before returning to Mallorca for his second stint.
