Rivers United Coach, Finidi George, has officially commenced his new role, leading his first training session at the Garden City Sports Complex on Monday.

The former Super Eagles coach signed a two-year contract.

Under Finidi’s leadership, Rivers United aim to rebuild their squad, having released fourteen players at the end of last season.

The club finished eighth in the 2023-2024 campaign, but has high expectations for the upcoming season, with hopes of contending for the league title.
