The Nigeria Football Federation has identified possible replacements for Super Eagles boss Jose Peseiro.
The NFF, according to reports have lined up former Super Eagles stars Finidi George and Emmanuel Amuneke as the successor to the Portuguese who could depart at the end of his current deal.
Finidi George is not new to the set up as he isone of the assistants to Peseiro, while Amuneke also had a brief spell with theEagles during the FIFA World Cup playoff.
Peseiro’s current deal with NFF will come to an end at the of June and talks over extension has been slow.
Reports claimed NFF will ask the former Venezuela boss to take a significant pay cut to keep his job.
Should the Portuguese fail to agree to the new terms, then NFF will open formal talks with Finidi and Amuneke.

Finidi won the Nigeria Premier League title with Enyimba in the 2022/23 season.
Amuneke on other hand has been without a job since he assisted Austin Eguavoen during his short reign as the Super Eagles coach.
