FINALLY! Ezenwa joins Katsina United

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, has finally put pen to paper with Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Katsina United ahead of next season Nigeria professional football league.

Ezenwa left Enyimba of Aba at the end of last after his one-year contract with the Club ended.

 

A move to Katsina United has been on the table for a few weeks but his demand for a whopping N700,000-a-month salary delayed his arrival at the Northern Club.

 

Ezenwa who endured a torrid time over lack of Playing with Enyimba completed his medicals on Thursday, before signing all the necessary paper works with the Changi Boys ahead of the new season.

 

“We will have the boost of @SuperEagles_ goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa in the forthcoming season as the former @SunshineFCAkure star signed the dotted lines for @fckatsinaunited after passing medicals,” reads a tweet on Katsina United official Twitter handle on Thursday.

 

The former FC Ifeayin Ubah goalkeeper will be fourth goalkeeper on the payroll of the Club with former Golden Eaglets goalkeeper, Dami Paul, Niger international Kassaly Dauda and Yinka David still available for selection.

 

Ezenwa was part of the Super Eagles team to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia but didn’t not make any appearance on the pitch.
