FIFA U20 World Cup: Senegal Coach tips Nigeria to beat Argentina

Senegal U20 head coach Malif Daf has backed Nigeria edge Argentina in their round of 16 match, at the FIFA U20 World Cup.

Daf, in a chat with brila.net, believes the Nigeria have a good chance of progressing to the quarter final of the U20 World Cup, but has warned against complacency.

“The problem with African teams is lack of concentration. We have good players, but we lacked concentration during the games,” the Senegal Coach stated.

Ladan Bosso’s team defeated the Dominican Republic and Italy before losing to Brazil in their final Group game.

The team will attempt to bounce back when they face Argentina on Wednesday.

“Nigeria has good players, they are strong and very quick,” the Senegal Coach said.

“Nigeria can win, because Argentina isn’t a very strong team. But it could be complicated because they are playing at home. I wish Nigeria all the best,” He told brila.net.
