FIFA U20 World Cup: Bosso will Give Reserve Players Minutes vs Brazil

Nigeria U20 head coach, Ladan Bosso has revealed how he plans to prosecute his side’s next game against South American giants, Brazil.

The Flying Eagles made it two wins out of two games in the second match of their campaign at the ongoing FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Argentina with a 2-0 win over Italy.

Even though the odds were stacked against the Flying Eagles, they managed to control the game and would go on to qualify before even the group favourites, Brazil, whom Italy had beaten in their opening game of the tournament.

Ladan Bosso stated that, having been assured of qualification from the group into the next round at the tournament, some of the players who have not had the opportunity to feature yet, would have the opportunity to showcase themselves.

“For now, it is certain that we have qualified from our group with 6 points,so, those players who have not played in the first two matches, I think we have to give them a chance to showcase themselves. We would play a normal game with Brazil, and I think they are beatable,” the Coach said.
