FIFA U20 World Cup: Bosso Confident ahead of Crunch match against Italy U20

Nigeria U20 MNT head Coach, Ladan Bosso revealed he is very much aware of the strength and weakness of Italy U20.

Bosso was in the stand to watch Italy U20 beat Brazil U20 (3-2) in the second Group B game of the FIFA U20 World Cup on Sunday.

The match was played immediately after Nigeria U20 edged debutants Dominican Republic U20 in the Group opener at the Estadio Malvinas in Mendoza.

On Wednesday, the Flying Eagles will trade tackles with the Azzurrini, and Bosso explained what he learnt from their first game.

“Staying behind to watch them against Brazil is to get idea about how they play and with that we can find solution,” the Nigeria U20 Coach said. “But sometimes it can be receiving because they might not approach the next match the same way.”

“However, it’s important to identify the key players in their team and design a way to take them out.”

Ladan Bosso also reveals where he feels his side is better than both Italy U20 and Brazil U20.

“The match between Italy and Brazil is deceiving because tactically, the Brazilians are better and fitter.

“The Italians were able to utilize their chances in the first 35 minutes, but gassed out in the second half and Brazil scored twice.
