FIFA U17 WWC: Flamingos’ Harmony Chidi Aims for Perfect Group Stage Finish

Nigeria U17 striker, Harmony Chidi was awarded the Player of the Match award in the team’s 4-0 win over Ecuador on Saturday.

The qualifiers top scorer credited her success to the support of her teammates and coach.

“Well, I’m the happiest person on earth. This is a dream come true. I’m very, very happy and I bless God for it because it’s not by my own strength.”

“By doing well, if my teammates didn’t support me to play, if my coaches didn’t encourage me to play and my God also there, I don’t believe that I would be the man of the match and the highest grade scorer in the qualifiers.”
