Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets defeated South Korea 4-2 in a pre-tournament tune up in Brazil, bouncing back from a 2-1 defeat suffered at the hands of Sao Paolo.
A brace from Eaglets forward Olakunle Olusegun and one goal each for Divine Nwachukwu and Charles Etim sealed a good win for the team ahead of the World Cup opener.
Nigeria will kick start its campaign for a record-extending sixth title in Brazil against Hungary on October 26.
