FIFA U-17 WWC: Nigeria to Play Mexico in Friendly Game

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has scheduled a friendly match for the Nigeria Women’s U17 team, Flamingos, to prepare for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the Dominican Republic.
Flamingos secured their spot in the tournament by defeating Liberia and Nigeria is one of the 16 countries competing in the World Cup, which will take place from October 16 to November 3.
The update from the NFF shows that Flamingos will face Mexico in an international friendly ahead of the tournament with Mexico proposing a friendly with Nigeria at the draws in Santo Domingo,
In the competition, Nigeria is placed in Group A along with New Zealand, Ecuador, and the host nation Dominican Republic.
Nigeria will kick off their campaign against New Zealand on October 16, followed by a match against Ecuador on October 19, and will conclude the group stage with a game against the Dominican Republic on October 22.
