FIFA Ranking: Super Falcons Hold Top Spot in Africa

The Nigeria WNT, Super Falcons, have maintained their position as the top-ranked team in Africa in the latest FIFA Women’s World Rankings released recently.

Updated every three months, this edition of the women’s rankings has Super Falcons retaining their number-one spot in Africa.

 

Randy Waldrum’s side is ranked 36th in the world, ahead of the Banyana Banyana of South Africa, who are ranked 51st globally and second on the continent.

Morocco are the third-highest-ranked team in Africa, placed 56th worldwide while Ghana is ranked 65th in the world and 5th on the continent.

World champions La Roja of Spain have consolidated their position as the number one team in the world.

The next FIFA Women’s World Rankings will be published on August 16th, 2024.
