FIBA WCQ: D’Tigers Devour Ivory Coast 72-63

Nigeria’s Men’s Basketball team, D’Tigers, made a winning start to their final qualifying window for the FIBA World Cup which comes up later this year.

D’Tigers defeated an already qualified Ivory coast in Luanda, today. D’Tigers made a final score of 72 points to Ivory Coast’s 63 in the pulsating encounter.

The team will be looking to beat Guinea when they meet tomorrow – at 2 pm Nigerian time.

D’Tigers will also keep an eye on other results as the points difference could decide the fate of teams, and so will need a 100% performance to enable them tidy their end of the business to qualify for the World Cup.
