Nigerian Referee, Ferdinand Anietie Udoh has been appointed by FIFA to take charge of the 2018 World Cup qualifying match between South Africa and Cape Verde.
Udoh will be assisted by compatriot Abel Baba (Assistant Referee 1) and two other assistants, Soulaimane Amaldine (Assistant Referee 2) and Ali Mohamed Adelaid (Â Fourth Official), both from the Comoros.
South Africa host Cape Verde at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Tuesday, 5th September in a group D matchday 4 fixture.
The Nigerian recently officiated the 2019 Afcon qualifier between Sierra Leone and Kenya.
Udoh and Baba had also worked together during the World Cup qualifier between Cote d’voire and Mali on matchday 1.
