Enyimba of Aba coach, Fatai Osho is optimistic about his side’s chances of passage to the Group stage of the 2020-2021 CAF Confederation Cup.
Osho will lead his wards out against domestic rivals Rivers United in the first leg of the final preliminary round this Sunday and the tactician expects a tough match from their opponents.
Enyimba has reached the quarter-finals and the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup, UT they have their hands full against Rivers United who themselves recorded a 5-0 aggregate score triumph over Bloemfontein Celtic in the last playoff stage.
Speaking to Enyimba’s media team, Fatai Osho said he’s wary of Rivers United, but he optimistic about the side’s chances of progression in the competition.
“Rivers United is a great club and we are full of respect for them,” Osho said. “The two games will be extremely tight but we go into them with belief that we can do well.”
Meanwhile, Rivers United coach Stanley Eguma has confirmed that there are no injury concerns going into this tie and his players are fired up for the first leg.
