Nigerian forward Ezekiel Motunrayo made an electrifying start to her career in Spain’s Liga F, providing an assist a minute after stepping onto the pitch for Valencia CF Femenino in their 1-1 draw against Deportivo La Coruña on Saturday.

In what seemed like a dream debut, the former Naija Ratels and Rivers Angels star was introduced in the 84th minute and immediately made her presence felt.

With Valencia trailing 1-0 after Ainhoa Martín’s 14th-minute opener, Motunrayo wasted no time, setting up Emma Martin for a stunning long-range equalizer in the 85th minute at the Estadio Municipal de Riazor.

Her instant impact was a bright spot for Valencia, who remain bottom of Liga F with just seven points after 17 games.

The Nigerian forward’s explosive introduction will give fans hope she’s the missing piece in Valencia’s fight for survival as the club prepares for a tough clash against Costa Adeje Tenerife on February 9, 2025.

Meanwhile, Blessing Nkor, another Nigerian talent at Deportivo, was left out of the matchday squad.

Deportivo sits 13th with 16 points and will face Real Sociedad next.
