Ezeji wants NPFL season declared null and void

LMC player’s Adviser Victor Ezeji has suggested that cancelling the current league season without awarding the title will be the best alternative out of the current scenario facing the league organisers.

Ezeji speaking in a chat with brila.net said the resumption of the league does not rest with the league organisers and that no one can say for sure when the season will return.
He said canceling the league without promotion or relegation will be the best bail-out option.
“The way the thing has happened, there is nothing anybody can do at the moment because if we say we want to continue, what is the Calendar for CAF like CAF rightly said tell us what you need to do, let us know how to plan.
For me, I believe before this pandemic will be over, it will be too late. So the best thing is not declaring anybody champion. It’s just to cancel and let the first four as it stand now represents us at the CAF champions league as well as the CAF Confederation Cup.”
