Crystal Palace boss, Roy Hodgson, has lauded Eberechi Eze’s performance against Leeds United on Saturday.
The youngster scored one and assisted another to help the Eagles to a 4 – 1 win over Marcelo Bielsa’s men at the Selhurst Park on Saturday.
The skillful midfielder beautiful free-kick in the 22nd minute was one of the best goals scored on Saturday and Eze is currently enjoying plaudits in the media.
Speaking after the match, Hodgson said he’s pleased with what he saw from Eze and added that his performance was perfect.
“I think apart from the free-kick, I thought his whole performance was very good.
“I don’t think you could fault him in any way; I don’t think you could fault his defensive work – certainly couldn’t fault anything he did on the ball, and of course the goal for me was the icing on the cake,” he told the club website.
Eze joined Crystal Palace in a deal that could rise to £20million pounds last transfer window.
He joined from Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion.
