Experience players will be key for Falcons at the FIFA women’s world cup in France – Danjuma

Former Super Falcons coach Christopher Danjuma has stated that the Super Falcons will thrive mainly at the women’s world cup in France this summer by the presence of a number of experienced players in the team which is the main difference in the women’s game to the men’s game.

Danjuma said in a chat with www.brila.net that the women’s game has a different dynamics to the men’s game and that the older players get in the woman’s game the better they become which is something the Nigerian team have in a good balance in the team.
“The thing about women is that the older players get, the better they get not the younger. So it is the women stage a rookie can go and get a curtain raiser but don’t put any weight on any rookie. It is different from men. The senior category is about the experience.”
Nigeria will be hoping to surpass the group stage this time around at the women’s world cup in France this summer.
