Exclusive: One thing Inspired My Tanzania Move — John Noble

Former Enyimba skipper, John Noble has spoken about his move to Tabora United in the Tanzanian League.

Noble told Brila FM that, the motivation for his move was the offer to triple his wages at Enyimba.

The 31 year-old Goalkeeper, revealed talks had been ongoing with Tabora United since the end of last season.

“Football is just about money, and knowing fully well that you’re not going to play forever,” Noble explained.

John Noble, Tabora United

Tabora United signed the 2023 NPL Champion as a free agent, after his time at Enyimba FC.

“When you’re offered three times your current wages, I think everyone will just joyfully have to make that move. We have families and we have people looking up to us, at the end of the day they don’t care where you play but what you achieved.”

“I’ve played three years with Enyimba, and it was a fantastic experience with them.

“When I got the offer and I looked and compared it with what I was receiving at Enyimba, I told myself I had to go to Tanzania and see what I can do.

“Money is the reason why I came here and time waits for no man,” he concluded.
