Ex Remo Stars Coach Gbenga Ogunbote confirms 3SC and Abia Warriors contact

Gbenga Ogunbote is currently on the top of the wish list of several clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League ahead of next season.

The experienced tactician is free to join any team following his exit from Remo Stars at the end of his contract.

Some of the clubs after his signature, are Shooting Stars of Ibadan and Abia Warriors who themselves just announced the departure of Imama Amapakabo.

In a brief chat with brila.net, Ogunbote confirmed he’s been contacted by the two clubs and others, which he refused to name.

“We have been approached by many clubs, not just these two ( 3SC and Abia Warriors) but nothing has been agreed.”

“So we’ll take it as a rumor for now and just keep our fingers crossed until one materialized,” He told brila.net

Ogunbote led the unfancied Remo Stars side to third place finished in just concluded Nigeria Professional Football League season.
