Omonia Nicosia and Nigerian defender Shehu Abdullahi has confirmed that everyone in camp is ready to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of today’s matchday 2 world cup qualifying clash against the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde at the Estádio Municipal Adérito Sena in Mendelo.
Abdullahi speaking in a chat with brila.net enthused that the players on ground are experienced enough and up to the task and hence Nigerians shouldn’t be bothered by the departure of a couple of key players in the team.
“Everybody is ready to play, it’s a good opportunity for some players to play to show what they can do. So I think it’s not going to affect the team that much because with all the players here are players with experience, they play in the top clubs, top leagues so I think they are ready for it.”
