Europa: Diego Costa likely to miss Arsenal clash

Atletico Madrid is unsure if former Chelsea striker, Diego Costa will be available for next Thursday’s Europa League clash with Arsenal.

The former Chelsea energetic forward suffered a hamstring injury in the last round against Sporting Lisbon, limping off after 52 minutes.

He has since missed Madrid’s weekend win over Levante and has been left out of the squad for tonight’s meeting with Real Sociedad.

The 29-year-old will also miss the weekend meeting with Real Betis and his participation in the first leg of the semi-final against the Arsenal is in serious doubt.
