Oghenekaro Etebo started his first game for Galatasaray in the Europa League clash against Hadjuk Split on Thursday.
The midfielder joined the former Turkish champions in a loan deal last month but only made his debut when he came on as a second-half substitute against Istanbul Basaksehir.
Etebo replaced Algeria International Sofiane Feghouli in the 72nd minute as Galatasaray defeated reigning champions, Istanbul Basaksehir 2-0.
Etebo was handed his first start for the club by Coach Fatih Terim as Galatasaray beat Croatian club Hadjuk Split 2-0 in their Europa League at the Telcom Arena.
Etebo who was impressive played the entire duration of the game, but it was Younes Belhanda and Ryan Babel that scored the goals for the Turkish Super Lig giants.
Etebo will be hoping to retain his place in the line up when Galatasaray host Fenerbahce this Saturday.
