Etebo set to join Greek club from Stoke City

Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo is edging closer to joining Greek Super League side Aris Thessaloniki.

Etebo is out of favor at his English Championship club, Stoke City, and according to Pressaris, both the player and club are now ready to end the relationship.

Etebo signed for the Potters in 2018, but spent most of his time on loan away from the Club.

Stoke City and Aris Thessaloniki have now reached an agreement and the player is expected to arrive Greece on Wednesday for his medicals and also to put pen to paper.

Etebo spent last season on loan at Watford, but after making a promising start at the club, he ruptured his Achilles tendon which ended his season.

He made just nine appearances in the Premier League for the Hornets, who themselves opted not to sign him on a permanent deal.
